It's primarily suited for mid-long range combat out of range from SMG fire
Cons: DPS somewhat pales in comparison to other weapons due to the Spitfire's low fire rate.
Pros: Good magazine size, low recoil, and decent damage all make the Spitfire a surprisingly consistent weapon at mid-range and beyond.
Even with this hop-up, its DPS stays slightly below the R-99's DPS
Cons: You'll need Select Fire in order to maximize the Prowler's damage potential.
Fairly easy to control in both firing modes Using the Select Fire hop-up makes the Prowler a consistently high DPS weapon at close range.
Pros: Has mostly vertical recoil that lowers with each successive burst and deals 70 damage to the body per 5-round burst.
Disruptor rounds are a must if you intend to carry an Alternator to the end of the match.
Cons: Overall damage is limited in comparison with "alternat"-ives due to lower fire rate.
Highest damage per shot in the SMG category
Pros: Recoil is vertical and easy to control Excellent damage against shielded targets when using Disruptor Rounds while still viable in early-mid stage gameplay without them.
High recoil limits the R-99's effectiveness to close range
Cons: Burns through ammo fast, even with extended mags.
Pros: Extremely high fire rate and DPS, ideal in late-game situations where close-quarter combat is the only option.
Even with a turbocharger, however, the Havoc's DPS remains slightly below the other automatic assault rifles
Cons: The charge-up delay can be a real pain during a gunfight.
Recoil is easy to predict and mostly vertical
Pros: The Havoc has the highest maximum mag size in the assault rifle category at 36 rounds with a level 3 extended energy mag.
This limits its effective range in comparison to its competitors
Cons: Recoil is rather difficult to control, and you can't equip a barrel stabilizer to mitigate its recoil.
Fantastic DPS of 190 if all shots connect to the body (and potentially more if you can headshot)
Pros: Since its most recent buff in the recent balancing update, the Flatline deals a respectable 19 damage per shot, on par with the fan-favorite Spitfire but with an even faster fire rate.
Cons: Burst delay limits its damage potential, placing this weapon behind submachine guns and the other assault rifles at closer ranges.
Can even compete with sniper rifles in its semi-automatic firing mode Most enemies can be taken out in 3-4 well-placed bursts.
Pros: Low recoil and great performance at medium range.
Cons: Not really too many downsides, but the R-301 is less viable at extremely close and extremely long ranges.
Pros: Good damage-per-second (DPS), low and easily controllable recoil, and generally just a really good choice at all ranges.
